3 Day Alliance Completion Event Tips

It's been discussed on many sites as to which Story Quest contributes the most points for the least amount of energy. The general consensus is Act 3, Chapter 4, Quest 1 (3.4.1). It awards 1500 points for 30 points of energy per path.

As you can see, it consists of 6 fights on each path consisting of only Mutant and Skill class champions so a good team of Tech and Mutants champions can easily deal with this quest.

**As of this posting, Cosmic Civil War; Endgame event quest is still going. Running 2.2 (Civil Warrior) under Heroic nets 3000 points at a cost of 42 points of energy for the shortest path. It's worth taking if you have the time and champions.**

4* Arena Endless Streak

This infographic can be used to create an endless streak in the 4* 3v3 arena

Champions Roster

With this website you can add your champions to a roster and build teams for alliance quests and alliance wars, as well as individual quests and arenas. There is also a section to see which champions synergize with each other.

For a more in depth guide, look here.

Introduction

I have been playing Marvel's Contest of Champions for a while now and decided to start this blog to attempt to create a more centralized place for information to commonly asked questions. Throughout my time playing MCoC, I couldn't tell you how many times I've been stuck at some point and had to work my extensive Google-fu skills to find the answers to my questions. As I continue to grow in the game, so too will this blog.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank my alliance, G8TRS, and the officers there. They have been a fountain of knowledge for me and the improvement on my gameplay is all thanks to them.

So I hope you find this blog informative and I certainly hope you have fun playing the game. Enjoy!

Champions Roster Guide

For this guide I'll be using screenshots from my phone. While the layout may be slightly different due to the screen size and orientation, everything will look the same whether on a tablet, phone, or PC.

To add champions, simply select the + in the lower corner.

You will then be able to add individual champions based on tier.

You can also adjust each champion's statistics by selecting them from your roster.

The menu button at the top right allows you to switch between roster (three silhouettes), teams (3 gears), and synergies (distribution symbol).

To build a defense team for Alliance War, first select the tier, then Alliance War, and then Defense. After that, select Build from the top of the menu. The same steps are used to build your attack team. This can take some time depending on the number of champions you have and what tier or tiers you have selected.

Once done building, close the menu (X) and you will see your team or teams and what synergy bonuses the team has.

To modify the team, open the menu, choose which team you want to change, select Modify, and close the menu.

From there, first select which champion you want to remove and then the champion you want to replace them with. Finally, select Apply.

To clear your teams completely, first select each team and then select Dissolve.

The synergy section shows, through animated graphics, the relationships each of your players have. There is a color coded key to show which synergies are which.
